Dancing with the Stars

As most of you know (well, the 2 of you that read this), we are HUGE DWTS fans. Hannah LOVES it! Well, they released pair photos yesterday, so that's all Hannah has been talking about. This morning, she dressed herself up, turned on the fake tv and said in a VERY deep voice "dancing with the stars" and she started her dance. Enjoy:0)

Be Mine!

The girls have cutie pot coordinating shirts that they wore today. Here is my pathetic attempt at taking their picture (with the video camera...still no regular camera...Boo).

Here's the first attempt. Couldn't see the shirts very well and Lillian looks ticked off...

So I tried again. Good grief!

Not exactly what I was hoping for:0)

Maybe I can get one good shot of ONE of them! Weird pose.

That'll do, my pretty girl! Nice TRASH CAN!!! ARG!
I had to get some sort of shot of her!

Later in the day, I was able to get a cute pic of both of them with my blackberry camera, so don't feel sorry for me. No clue how to get that on here (for that, you can feel sorry for me)! But it really was cute and made me happy:0)

Song List

I added a new song list...yes, I know, that's soooo 2 years ago:0) I added most of my all time favorites and a couple of Hannah's. Hannah LOVED "Umbrella" when it came out and thought it was so funny because it was "kinna like Cinderella, ella, ella". Well, the child should get royalties, because now there's a remix with exactly that! Now she gets so mad when she hears the original and there isn't a "man singing Cinderella, ella!" Of course I added "Love Story"...it's my ring tone, so one of my faves at the moment...Hannah sings it 3794832794837 times a day. Hannah makes everyone stop and listen for the "marry me" part....and even Lillian stops what she's doing to sing and dance along when it comes on!

Teeth, Disney movies, a few tears and some laughs

I guess it's been a while! I broke my camera, so I haven't been able to take pictures, so everytime I sat down to write a new blog entry, I was just mad that I didn't have any new pictures and I would just quite. No pictures, but I'll leave you with some updates about what's going on with each of the girls:0)

Lillian currently has 3 teeth coming in. She's been a real thrill to be around...I kind of really do mean that:0) She's running around (literally) like she owns the place. She tells Sophie "AHHH!!!" (off) all day long and asks for a "nana" evey 10 minutes or so:0) She has started climbing on everything her stumpy little legs will allow. We have found her basically dangling from the bathroom sink several times. Yesterday, she went into my room, stood next to my dresser and started dancing. There wasn't any music, but she was pointing to my clock radio. She's quite fun.

Hannah reminds me daily that she's a mommy and a princess. Good to know. Now I know why she told me yesterday that "My father is forcing me to marry" and "We will NEVER bow to you!"...Maybe I should "misplace" Aladdin for a few years. She is doing very well with her therapies. She's extremely active and starting to make a lot of progress with her hip placement. It looks like we'll be through will all that very soon!

It's been a rough few weeks for some of my family. God doesn't give us anything we cannot handle. For some reason, it's harder for me to remember that when it comes to others. Make since?

On a brighter note, Lillian is singing her little heart out from her crib. Love her.

A few of their favorite things...

I thought I would take a few minutes to talk about the things my girls are interested in right now. Of course, it seems to change everyday, but there are a few things that are pretty consistent right now:0)

Hannah...She LOVES anything to do with the Nativity and Baby Jesus. She actually plays it all out several times a DAY, no joke. She walks around with all kinds of things on top of her head throughout the day. Lillian was eating a snack the other day and started squealing when she was done. Hannah "squealed back", "Gabriel, quit yehwing at me! I'm having a baby!".

Hannah is also an avid fan of Rhianna's song, "Please don't stop the music". Her favorite restaurant for the last 6 months is "Red Robin". She orders the Chicken and Pasta every time. She informed me today that "Beauty and the Beast" is better than "Sleeping Beauty". "Beauty and the Beast" folks should be honored. Hannah also loves cheeseburgers, Sprite and gum:0)

Lillian is all about the bath. She pulls me into my bathroom while pulling up on her little shirt several times a day. She loves "gugut" (yogurt) and drinking from any cup that isn't her own. She's a HUGE eater. Especially if it involves pancakes and bananas. She's very into "buhbuhs" (babies). She pats on their little backs and rocks them from side to side. The one thing that gets Lillian's attention 100% of the time...drum roll please....dogs:0) "Daw...ruff ruff ruff". Remind you of a certain other little girl we all know and love? Lillian also dances like a cutie pot, especially to mommy's ring tone. She sings along as well. I believe she will sing bass like her sister:)

Apparently, she also loves waking up from her nap while mommy is writing a blog:)

Spoiled and Selfish???

I love how Hannah uses words that she doesn't quite know how to use properly. She says them very precisely, I just don' think she knows what they mean:0)
Examples:
This morning, Lillian was chasing Hannah around the house. Hannah was laughing and she'd slow down enough for Lillian to catch up with her and then run off again laughing. "Lillian! This is fun! You're so spoiled and selfish!" Not sure where that came from!

Hannah is wearing new shoes today. I wanted to make sure they didn't hurt her feet. She went out to dinner with Ryan and when she got back, I asked her if her shoes felt ok. "They feel great. They're very difficult. Thank you for asking."

She also has her own word. ridilious. We think is comes from hilarious and ridiculous. She often refers to her hair as ridilious. Her room has been ridilious. And I have been ridilious.

She's a hoot.
