New "List"

My super cool friend Nataly has a section in her blog called "From the Mouth of Babes" where she features all the cute things Savannah says...so, I'm totally going to copy her! Be sure to check it out!

Yes, it's been a long time:0)

I believe I left off with the promise of posting more party pics...here are some smash cake shots:0)

Happy Birthday Lillian!

What a day! We celebrated our little Lilly Bug today with family and friends. Here are a few pics. More to come later. Let's just say, the child will be sleeping VERY well tonight! (Mommy and Daddy too!)

One day to go!

Lillian and Hannah will be spending the night away tonight. Ryan and I will be going to his company's Christmas Party and Jennifer volunteered to take both girls. This works out well because it will give me some extra time to get things done for the party tomorrow. It will be Lillian's first night away (ok, I just did spell check and I spelled "First" "Firts" and the spellcheck suggestion was "Farts"). Hannah didn't spend the night away until she was 2! I almost said no to Jennifer's super (and brave) offer only because I won't get to say happy birthday to Lillian when she wakes up in the morning...oops...there goes a tear. Breathe Crystal....ok, feeling a little better:0)

Our countdown today continues with a few of my favorite shots taken when she was 5 days old!

Countdown continues...with that smile!

That smile:0) It'll just melt your heart! For today's countdown, I have chosen a few of those smiley pictures I just can't stop looking at! Starting with the first smile we got on camera. She was 5 weeks old.
This one reminds me of the weird Munchkin that sang Lollipop Guild in the Wizard of Oz.
This one was taken on Easter. The thing that's funny to me about this one is that she was so grouchy until we put her in her car seat. She went through that for a month...if too many people were bothering her, she was DONE. Put her in the carrier, she was happy as a lark!
This was taken on the beach at St. Simons. She sqealed the whole time!
This one was taken at the end of our family portrait session in June. We were all hot and sweaty. I believe Lillian was cracking up at Ryan and Hannah running through the sprinkler.
Hannah dressed Lillian up for this one. I just think it's cute:0)
She LAUGHED and LAUGHED at herself on Halloween.
This is totally Lillian. This is the smiley, laughy face we get 437509832750 times a day.
Thank you for all of the smiles Boo Boo. Love you!

Count down to the big day!

Lillian will be one on Saturday. Other than the first month of odd reflux growling sounds that came with NO sleep for any of us, it's been a FUN year. She's just so....happy. Always laughing. Always on the go...into all things with wires, buttons, cords...you know, the stuff she's not suppose to touch. I'm going to share some of my favorite pictures over the next few days to help us out with the count down! We'll start with a few hospital pictures.

Here's Hannah with her Big Sister Hannah shirt on getting ready to go to school. Mimi picked her up from school that day and brought her to Northside. She was so excited! I looked through all the bath pictures, but she was screaming in all of them. Here's her very first "non screaming" picture. This one makes me smile and cry at the same time. I just love the ease shown here...Hannah is a natural nurturer. This is my favorite "hospital" picture of Lillian. It was quite a preview of the days to come.

Wan Dat!

We went to the aquarium Saturday with Daddy and Peggy. We had a great time. It was fun watching the girls...We went in February and Lillian slept in her Baby Bjorn while I followed Ryan and Hannah around in some foggy existence. I seem to be mostly nice and awake these days and Lillian certainly isn't sleeping through anything anymore! She pointed her little heart out the whole time and said "Wan dat" about everything the saw. She also lifted her little leg to "get in" all of the exhibits:0) Hannah's new "Wow" expression is "Oh my gracious goshness" and we heard that only 37409237409342 times Saturday!

Great shot Papa!

I think I'm going to be shy for this one.

I LOVE this one!

Ok. Now I need to tell you about my favorite part of the day. That little guy Lillian is pointing to swam up to her and stared at her almost the whole time she was standing there! It was adorable. The rest of the fish were just swimming away but this little guy just stared. I'll be smiling about this for a long time:0)

The beautiful mind of a beautiful 4 year-old

While decorating the fence, Hannah decided that the birds needed Thanksgiving lunch too, so she picked some berries for them and placed them right smack in the center of the driveway for them to enjoy:0)

Thanksgiving lunch for the birds.
Piling them up very carefully so they don't get squishedededed.

Here, take a picture of the berry.

Counting the berries to make sure there are enough for everybody.

Had to add this one in! Arggggggg

Thanksgiving and such

We were able to spend Thanksgiving Day with Ryan's family. Each year, all the cousins head out to decorate his grandmother's fence. I was able to snap a few fun pictures of the girls while "we" helped.

Lillian VERY much wanted to help!
Don't let the scrunched nose fool you...she was having a great time!

Helping Daddy!

Outside Fun

Hannah wanted to go outside and play. I felt like my sinuses were about to kill me, but who can resist a cute hat and a stinkin' cute 4 year old. Back to the hat...I told Hannah she needed to wear her hat outside and she burst into tears. It took a second to figure out what she was saying. That is her WINTER hat and it's FALL. She has not had Thanksgiving yet:0) This one cracked her up. Yes, I'm on the ground with leaves in my hair.

I like Funny Faces, she says. Please smile for Mommy. I can't, I only make funny faces.

My favorite from the day. It wasn't even "posed". She flew down the slide and this was her reaction when she made it to the bottom:0)

Wet hair, Parties and a New Camera

These are some of my favorite from this weekend. We had a family birthday celebration with the Casey's on Saturday. This one is Daddy loving his Love Bug.

This is the only one I managed to get of Hannah this weekend without ketchup, chili or chocolate all over her face!

Not sure what she's laughing at but I think it's cute:0)

Here's Lillian with her wet hair combed looking all serious with her tivo remote.

I'm glad to have a camera again. Apparently this one will do all sorts of tricks, but I haven't figured any of them out yet beyond the kid/pet setting. I had some fun with that. I'm pretty sure I'm not even doing that right. I have lots of blurry head pictures. Reading a camera manual can sure make you feel stupid! (you, as in me.) :0)
