Say WHAT?!?!?!?!

Hannah was watching Little Einsteins on the DIsney Channel this morning and they were helping a baby bird find it's way home. A BOOBIE BIRD! She said, "they said boobie bird!" and we both laughed. Surely they're not saying BOOBIE bird. I googled it and guess what? The were saying boobie bird:0) That cracks me up. Will I ever grow up? :0)

Magic Kingdom...Day 2

New Years Eve is the busiest day of the year at Magic Kingdom. We were walking shoulder to shoulder on the sidewalks! We had a blast though. Hannah was a big girl and rode everything she was tall enough for, including Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. At the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, they used her face as Boo. She was a little embarrassed to "be on tv" but we thought it was very fitting because I call her Boo, and when she was little, we thought she looked like Boo!

We decided to get breakfast at the park and ended up eating BBQ and hamburgers at 10:30 a.m.
Hannah on the Tea Cups. This was before it started...
A second or 2 into the tea cup ride...

A minute or so later.
a little later:0)
at the end of the ride:0)
Buss Light Year:0) Ok, it was in the 80's during the day but it cooled off quickly. Luckily, I brought our jackets the first day so grabbed them for the second day as well. Me, being super mom and all, went to get Hannah's princess jacket from her yoga suit out of the backpack around 5 or so when it cooled off only to discover I brought her PANTS! So, here she is wearing my jacket:0)

Wearing the New Years hat the passed out to everyone in the park. They also passed out party blowers. Boy was it LOUD!!!
The Castle at night with Christmas lights. This was taken during the Cinderella show.

So talented.

First Day at Magic Kingdom

We began our day by walking down to another hotel for Breakfast. Here's our Belle enjoying her pancakes and fruit. She was so excited!

This may be my favorite picture in the history of Hannah pictures. Ryan was holding her up to take a look at the castle.
Not the best pic, but hey, you have to take this shot, right?

As we walked up to the castle, there was a show going on. Hannah was a big fan apparently!

The first thing we did was head to the princess visiting area. We waited in line for an hour and it was worth it! They do a great job at making it special. Once you get to "the" doors, they only let 5 or so families in at a time. Each child gets their own time with each princess. She was just THRILLED!
Posing with Cinderella!

Belle telling Hannah that they are twins! She loved it!

There was a photographer there so Hannah didn't know where to look:0)
Hannah's favorite of the day:0) Aurora asked Princess Hannah where she traveled from. Hannah told her, "Uhhhhh, my house." Aurora responded, "oh my, you traveled a great distance"!
Hannah told us she was "hot and sweat" so we took the dress off for a less cute look. It was 80 degrees:0) She waiting very patiently for an hour to see Ariel in "Ariel's Grotto".

This is another shot from the show we caught when we go there. Another favorite of mine.

Couldn't resist.

Hannah's favorite part of the Christmas Parade! She LOVES the Beast:0)

Got this shot during the parade.

We headed out around 7 that evening. We were exhausted and needed rest for day 2!

Off to Disney World!!!

We dropped Lillian off at Ryan's parents on the 28th (our anniversary:0)). We flew out at 11:15 a.m. on the 29th. Hannah was SUPER excited!

Here she is with her new suitcase, getting ready to head to the airport.

We didn't have much time before loading the plane, so Daddy got us some bread sticks and pizza for the plane.

It was 84 degrees when we got to Orlando! Hannah and Daddy played in the pool for a little while!

We were staying a block down from Downtown Disney, so we spent the evening walking around and enjoyed a meal at Planet Hollywood. We got in bed early...we were exhausted and ALL had colds! We had to rest up for our first day at Magic Kingdom!

A few more pics from Christmas

Loving on my Lillian.
The "grand kid" picture at my dads. They all look thrilled to be together don't they? It was actually the first time having all 6 together at one time. Lillian made that quite memorable for everyone with this super pic to mark to occasion.

Hannah chillin' with daddy at Maw Maw's on Christmas afternoon.

Lillian sporting her new hat from her cousin Luke!

Christmas Morning

The girls woke up around 7 and we headed downstairs to check out the goodies. Lillian wasn't so sure. She was quite observant...Nothing new, but just not as hands on as usual:0) She came around once she "found" her Zebra. After Hannah saw her new Princess suitcase, we told her about our trip to Disney World. She covered her mouth and made the cutest noises. I believe she was a little excited! She was also pretty stoked about her "Sleeping Beauty in a Basket", which she had been telling the whole world for months that that's what she would be getting for Christmas. She kept asking if it was hers forever. I assured her that it was hers to keep.

Christmas Eve: Birthday Party for Jesus

Well, it was a good idea:0) It didn't go exactly like I had it all planned out in my head. This is how I saw Christmas Eve...Ryan and the girls and I would be hanging around the house together, wrapping last minute gifts, cleaning up the house a little. The girls would take an extra long nap while I baked a cake. They would wake up, our friends, the Walkers, would come over. The girls would decorate a cake while we all talked about how special Jesus is. We would have a wonderful dinner and then Ryan would read the Nativity Story and the girls would go to bed. Ryan and I would exchange our gifts, watch a Christmas movie and then head to bed.
Well...on the night of the 23rd, I discovered that a creature had gotten into a drawer with all of the stocking stuffers!!! I also found out Ryan had to work. I still had 8 blocks to make (a Christmas gift project) which would take quite a but of time. We headed to Mimi's that night for a party and I was in panic mode. Mimi stepped up and took the girls for the night. I got up early and had all blocks made by 7:30, wrapped most of my gifts, headed to re buy stocking stuffers and was back wrapping more gifts when Mimi called for me to meet her to pick up the girls. I picked them up, threw them in their beds for naps, which they didn't take. Cleaned up my tornado disaster of a house and the Walkers arrived as my 7 cupcakes were finishing up. yes, 7 cupcakes because that's all the liners I had. Hannah and Kailey decorated cupcakes (ate icing) as I finished up dinner...oh, I hadn't eaten a thing since 10 that morning. It was about 5:30 or 6 by the time we ate dinner. they left, I threw Lillian in bed, Ryan read the Christmas Story to Hannah (her most favorite story of all time). She stuck her pretend screwdriver in his ear the whole time he read. Ryan had to wrap my gifts after we put the girls to bed. He had been working all day. We exchanged gifts and watched A Christmas Story...funny. It was a good day. Just not as sentimental as I had hoped for:0)
Here are a few pics from our evening...
