I CLEARLY remember you going into first grade yesterday.

Where did the time go?

One thing I know for sure is I couldn't be more proud of  you. You are the most compassionate, caring, respectful, well behaved child I have EVER known. And that's the truth:)

6 and a half year olds...

don't like Disney Princesses. Just REAL princesses, according to my 6 and a half year old. This makes me a little sad. So does shopping for big girl clothes. They all of peace signs or cross bones and skulls on them. This past weekend has been filled with talk of Slumber Parties, Justin Bieber and Camp Rock 2. As Ryan often reminds me, growing older sure beats the alternative. So, as I sit here feeling sad that my 6 year old is growing out of "little girl" things, I'm thanking the Lord that I have my sweet Hannah to love on everyday.
