Dear Lillian...

My sweet little angel. You are a joy. A big ole JOY! There are so many things you are doing right now at the ripe old age of 19 months that I never want to forget. I want to put everything on a little thumb drive and stick it right in my brain for safe keeping. So, here's an attempt at documenting a few of these sweet little memories.

1) dipping

You want to "bip" everything. I was eating my healthy bread sticks and marinara at Target Cafe and you were eating your healthy popcorn (bop porn). You "bipped" every bite of your pop corn in my marinara. And today...oh my little girlfriend, you "bipped" your tortilla chip crumb in daddy's roast beef juice. You are a funny little girl! I hope you get to try all the wonderful dips this world has to offer. My personal favorite, Chick-fil-a's Polynesian Sauce...mmmm. Update since starting this post 5 days ago: you asked for "bepup" for your biscuit this morning. :)

2) excuse me

I love that you say "Mu me" ALL of the time. When you need to scoot by someone or even when you sneeze or cough. What a polite girl you are!

3) kisses

You love to kiss and I LOVE the sound of your "Muah Muah". Unfortunately for daddy, you have started attacking peoples' faces with some up close and personal kisses. :)

4) questions

I love your questions. You wanna know why, when, what and where ALL of the time. Aren't you a little young for that Missy??? Here's one of our faves.
As a plane zooms overhead...
Lillian: "Pane"
Mommy: "Airplane???"
Lillian: "Were?"
Yes, I meant to leave the "h" out just so everyone can know how redneck you sound when you say it:0)

I could go on and on. I love your shaggy hair in the morning. I love that you say "shew" during all of your diaper changes. I love that you tell me when to change your diaper. I love that you think you need to fill your potty with water because that's how I rinse out your peepee. I love that you call Hannah "Nana" and Hannah Montana "Nana nana". I love that you say "Were Nana" as soon as you get up each morning. I love that you ask to check the mail. I love it all.

Muah!

Yes...there's more! Vacation part 4

This was from a "walk" we took Thursday night. Hannah and Lillian weren't thrilled that the camera went on a walk with us, but I was determined to get a few decent shots. Especially of Ryan and me, because we have so few with both of our eyes open:) This one turned out pretty good.

Lillian...ummm...checking things out.
Aunt Kee-eee and Lillian
I'm sure she's showing me a bird. We only looked at birds about 379584358734852 times.
Here's Miss No Pictures on the Beach just Playing trying to be a good sport.
Looking a bit concerned about something, but I still think it's sweet.
Looking cute with Aunt Carrie.
Posin'
Giggling about something:)

I packed matching outfits for everyone for another photo session that never happened...Oh well:) Next time I'll remember more batteries!

Vacation Part 3:)

Wednesday night, Aunt Carrie was a gem and stayed with the girls while Ryan and I went out to good ole Bubba's for some Mexican. She snapped this one while we were gone. Not sure what they're up to but it sure does look cute! Maybe some kisses???

I know it looks like Lillian is scared out of her mind, but she really did enjoy her float.
Lillian brought her gigantic shovel along on a walk one morning and did some major shoveling along the way.
This is Lillian on the same walk looking all cute.
Heading to the pool with Daddy.
Smilin' at the elevator. Mr. Elevator provided lots of giggles during our stay.
Lillian rockin' out to "Boom Boom Pow"
Hannah on Tuesday night...do you think she was a little wiped out??? She fell alseep that evening at 5:45 while I made dinner and didn't wake up until after 8 the next morning.

You may be wondering why I have so many pics of L and not H...Hannah informed me that the beach was for play time...not picture time.

A few more Vacation shots

Ok, so I actually have a billion more to share. This will get us started:) Here's a few of my faves.

So, here's my big girl getting ready to go kayaking with Aunt Carrie in the OCEAN!!! She was thrilled and did great! Here she is sporting her life jacket in a typical Hannah pose.
Getting ready to head out!
So brave! This is actually from day 2. I followed Lillian around with the camera most of the morning and ended up with a million back shots:)
She has a blast following around the little gray girl in front of her...
Think I put enough sunscreen on her???
Man...I put a lot of sunscreen on them! Anywho, they looked cute!
To be continued...

Vacay Day One

We love, love, love St. Simon's. This is the third year we have gone...Ryan went many times as a wee lad. This time, Aunt Carrie was able to go with us. We rented a car, based on the fact our hoopties (I just spelled check this word at blogger suggested "Hooters")probably wouldn't make it there and back, and the girls had to test out the trunk before we loaded up all of our junk, I mean, necessities.

Hannah begged to go to the beach the whole 5 hours down there. We arrived a little after 5, so we suited up and headed out. I wasn't sure how Lilian would react, because of a very unsuccessful sprinkler incident we had a month ago. She was a little hesitant to stand on the sand at first, but quickly adjusted her steps and seemed to enjoy herself. This is one of her many super model poses from the week. Not a fan of the ocean breeze.
Hannah was THRILLED!!! She ran, jumped and squealed all the way to the ocean the second her feet touched the sand. I'm diggin' her wind blown do as well:)
This is as far as Lillian would go without having to be pulled. She's a strong little thing, btw.
Ryan tried to "explain" to her how fun the ocean is. Notice her little foot. She wasn't a sand fan either...THAT day.
Remember "Funny Farm"? You know the "cue the deer" scene? That's how I felt SSI greeted us that afternoon. A few minutes after getting out in the ocean, 2 dolphins were "cued" the leap 20 feet from us and about 5 minutes later, after a brief sprinkle, a rainbow appeared out over the ocean. Pretty neat:) All of that ended pretty quickly when Hannah fell into a sand castle pit and bruised her entire face. Oh well.

More to come later. We had a blast!

Our Mermaid

Hannah started swimming lessons yesterday. She's not the bravest little thing I know, but she's doing great!
Day 1.
Day 2...much more excited! Especially with having her OWN goggles:)

Swim lessons with Donna...I highly recommend her:)
